For those health professionals whose Spanish level is basic or intermediate, and who want to learn how to communicate about health-related issues with patients and other professionals, the Introductory Medical Spanish Program offers the ideal way to get started.
Each module includes 20 hours of live one-to-one Spanish classes with a teacher who has completed our training course in teaching medical Spanish usage. There are 3 modules that you can take, each one building on the previous, with the final module allowing specialization in your particular health-related area.
Many of the materials used for this course are the same as for our Professional Medical Spanish Program, but selected for the appropriate level. They include a full set of medical charts with all the body parts labeled in Spanish, dialogs and videos, medical articles in Spanish, and many other reference materials.
"I took two weeks of this course and found it invaluable in my work as a medical receptionist. Just to be able to find out a little more information in Spanish makes it a lot easier to deal with these patients more quickly and prepare the doctor to deal with them."
The first step is to sign up for a free trial Spanish class. There is no obligation on your part to continue studying, but it will offer you the opportunity to experience learning Spanish online. You will be able to discuss your needs with your teacher and decide what your next steps in learning Spanish will be!
¡oYe! Spanish is proud to offer its Introductory Medical Spanish Course to doctors, medical students and health professionals. There are three modules of 20 hours each of live classes that you can take one by one, to successively expand your ability to speak Spanish in a medical or health-related environment.
