At ¡oYe! we have several teachers who specialize in teaching children of all ages from around 6 years and upwards. The online teaching environment offers children and teenagers a way to learn Spanish that is engaging and fun, and far removed from the traditional classroom setting.

We have consistently found that children respond positively and learn quickly. Parents find that just a couple of hours per week of interaction with a live teacher online can lead to dramatic improvements in their child's performance in Spanish at school.

In contrast to the grammar-based, rote learning that is so common in the school system, giving children the chance to speak and listen and explore Spanish through interactive materials and games, leads to rapid learning and a huge gain in confidence for the child or teenager.

Parents have organized classes for their children for a variety of reasons. Some just take an hour or two a week as a general "booster" for their child's Spanish abilities, whilst others have set up a short burst of Spanish classes to prepare for upcoming exams. We are also happy to work with a particular textbook that your child may be using in school, aligning the content of the classes with the particular format that the textbook presents. Of course we will find ways to make the content much more interesting!

Parents who are homeschooling their children have also arranged regular classes throughout the year, finding this the perfect complement to their own system of education. Our teachers will recommend additional online resources that can help the child to continue to learn on their own, using the live classes to guide the learning process.
